Cult Nails: In The Garden Collection

Cult Nails In The Garden Collection is great! The colors are not like any that I have in my collection. However, I would have loved to see a green. There are many floral colors and even a color to represent dirt. But no greens for leaves, grass or plants.

While the colors are unique to me, they are not unique to the public. I love that they have some wax finishes in this collection and I also like that they are straying away from the current trend in our nail polish world : texture polishes. In that way, they are very unique!

Ginger + Liz: Hot N Bothered and Blowin' Money Fast

My first Ginger and Liz's! I was really excited when I got them spur of the moment because Urban Outfitters was having a free shipping and handling weekend!

I picked up Hot N Bothered a gorgeous, bright hot pink creme, a little on the dusky side & Blowin' Money Fast a dark green/teal frost. The applications were great!

However I always have a harder time controlling greens and blues. It doesn't make sense, I know! (for the record I DO know about clean up, haha!) The third picture is Blowin Money Fast under Sephora by OPI's I'm So Sari.

Dizzy Digits

I feel as if this is my first official nail art, i dont think my camera does it justice...probably because i have a crappy camera. But anyway, my base color is two coats of Revlon's Timeless, a gorgeous heather grey. My ring finger is two coats of Sally Hansen's Celeb City, a smooth silver metallic, under two coats of Floss Gloss's Dime Piece, a medium sized silver holo glitter.

Deborah Lippmann Between The Sheets...Again

So i'm finally using my camera! (woot woot) but what i figured out is that it is not as easy as i thought it would be...not using flash, trying to get the right angle, the right lighting, getting it to be in focus! It's hard! So, please excuse my amateur photo, hopefully i'll get better and get a lightbox and all that other stuff all the popular nail girls have! I also need a better camera...

This is two coats of Deborah Lippmann's Between the Sheets and two coats of Floss Gloss's Dime Piece, over two coats of Sally Hansen's Celeb City. I found that the application of FGDP was much easier over SHCC, I wasn't fighting with the glitter in the slightest. there are a few stray glitters on my skin that wouldnt come off with clean up, sorry for that!

Oh! and i added a water mark. I hope you all can see my progress! And please please give me some photography tips, if you have any!
