Toddler Tailleur: ZARA edition

My niece's first birthday is next month and I'm always obsessed with buying her cute clothes. I buy them for 18 month olds and older so that she won't grow out of them quickly (and also because dressing toddlers is way more fun). All of these pieces are from ZARA which is one of my favorite stores for kids and adults! They even have a home store.

Are you all as obsessed with toddler clothes as I am?

Wedding Attire

As you all know, one of my best friends is getting married in less than four months and I've been trying to find the perfect dress to wear. She said that it's more of a casual dress code but my friends and I don't do "casual" at events. So, these are some of the cocktail dresses that I've been drooling over.

wedding deets:
End of October
Evening
"Casual"
Pink dressed bridesmaids
Khaki dressed groomsmen

The List:
1. Eshakti Her Fifties Colorblock dress
2. Eshakti Fiona dress
3. Eshakti Graphic Stripe Poplin dress
4. Eshakti Ribbon Tie Waist Lace frock
5. Dorothy Perkins Pink Floral Fit and Flare dress

I know you can't see the hem line of some of the dresses but they are all fit and flare silhouette.

Some details you can't see are:
the hem of 6. has cutout detailing
the hem of 7. has a sheer strip
the hem of 9. has lace detailing
the hem of 12. is tea length

I need your input, my babies! Which dress do you think is the cutest and most appropriate?

Style Saturday: Colorless

This is the outfit I wore on the fourth of July. It's a little less than colorful and patriotic but as you all know I'm obsessed with black and white right now! I do have a pop of color though! My heels are cobalt blue, how's that for patriotic?

Independence Day Nails

I did three variations of Independence nails for fourth of July! I didn't actually wear any of these manicures on the actual day because I was tired of looking at them after redoing them so many times!

Products:
Julep Jackie and Tracy
Sinful Colors Snow Me White
Sally Hansen Celeb City
Floss Gloss Dime Piece
Loose red glitter
Loose white glitter

Excuse my stripes! I really need striping tape!

How was your fourth of July?

Animal Shift

I know this is new for me on this blog, but on my tumblr I used to post pictures of my outfits pretty frequently.  I haven't taken an outfit picture in quite some time, so to reintroduce myself to the process I thought I'd share a past outfit that I loved. Bare with me because the photos are quite unprofessional looking! But it's okay, once I start getting back into the swing of things the photos will be much better!

Maybelline Fit Me Foundation & Pressed Powder Review

Remember the foundation I mentioned in my May Cravings post? Well, I finally got it. I was correct about needing a lighter color once my tan faded. I ended up getting the products in color 340 instead of 350. I am obsessed with this foundation and pressed powder! I actually don't use foundation, so this is my first one. Unfortunately, the concealer was out of stock or else I would have purchased that too. I applied  the products with my Sonia Kashuk foundation and powder brushes. They applied incredibly evenly, I am so impressed! The Fit Me line is has a medium coverage that is supposed to show the natural highs and lows of your face. It did not leave me feeling or looking "cakey" and it evened out my skin tone beautifully. I definitely recommend Maybelline Fit Me products

The rest of this post is me shamelessly taking photos of my face for you all! The same makeup with three different lipsticks to show how they can transform a look and take you from business to casual to a night out on the town!

Preppy Monogrammed Sign

I made a monogrammed sign board for one of my best friends, Kelly, and her fiance' Aaron. Her surprise engagement party is this weekend, so I thought that this would be a fantastic gift that they could hang up when they get their first house.
