I Love Fall Tag

I know what you're thinking..."Tiffany, another anticipatory Fall post?". Yes, it is and no, I'm not ashamed! I love Autumn and Autumn loves me. We're in a committed relationship and if you don't like it, then don't come to our wedding. This is a special time in my life, guys! I'm the bride! ...Okay, maybe I took it too far. Anywho, here's another post about Fall.

1. What's your favorite fall lip product?

  • Fresh Sugar Lip Polish because the weather's cooler, your lips are dryer and you need a good exfolient. Chapstick, like Babylips and Vaseline Lip therapy. A dark vampy lipstick like Bite Pomegranate, NARS Valparaiso, Mac Rebel, Ardency Inn Black is Blue, MUFE 50

2. What's your favorite fall nail Polish?

3. What's your favorite Starbucks fall drink?

  • I don't drink Starbucks that frequently, but I guess I would have to say anything peppermint, pumpkin, gingerbread or salted caramel flavored! I know that they have all of those!

4. What's your favorite fall candle?

  • Bath and Body Works London Calling Tea and Lemon

5. What's your favorite fall scarf or accessory?

  • My favorite fall accessory is a turban headband...for obvious reasons.
c/o Babooshka Boutique

6. Haunted house, haunted hay ride, or haunted corn maze?

  • None of the above! I don't like being scared (outside of watching a movie). My friends and I were going to go to a haunted house last year but then I backed out. I know, I know...I just can't.

7. What's your favorite Halloween movie?

  • This may sound cheesy, but I love 90s Halloween movies! Don't Look Under The Bed, all of the Halloweentown's, Under Wraps, My Mom's Dating a Vampire...but who can forget classics like Hocus Pocus! (Also, Mary Kate and Ashley's Double Double Toil and Trouble)

8. What's your favorite candy to eat on Halloween?

  • Crabby Patties, candy corn (& pumpkins), mini snickers, slowpokes and bit o' honey!

9. What are you dressing up as for Halloween?

  • I don't know! Last year I was a mouse, the year before that I was a cat! Hmmm, some other animal? I would love to be Wilfred. Such a cute dog haha!

10. What is your favorite thing about Fall?

I know this isn't a conventional Style Saturday, but I wanted to try something different! I think this outfit embodies Summer! It's just not on my body. Ardency Inn: MODSTER Long Play Supercharged Lipcolor

Confession, I am now obsessed with lip products. Which is funny to me because for a long time I didn't think any lipsticks looked right on me. I know, that's a crazy way to think right? I also didn't think earrings looked good on me until middle school. But that's for another post, I am here today to put a spotlight on some new to Sephora lipsticks!

"Ardency Inn is a new makeup brand deeply rooted in the downtown New York music scene. Aiming to put the power of makeup artistry in the hands of not only recording artists but also every woman, the brand creates high performance color cosmetics that are quick and easy to use, allowing creativity to run free. With imagery that captures the edge and free spirit of Downtown New York, Ardency Inn represents a true lifestyle that will resonate with music and makeup fans everywhere"

MODSTER Long Play Supercharged Lipcolor is a "highly pigmented, full coverage lipstick with the comfort of a balm. [They] deliver...a velvety matte finish while protecting and nourishing the lips all day long. A combination of essential oils and waxes ensures a long lasting result that won't feather or transfer."

I am incredibly excited for these! I've never looked at a collection of lipsticks and wanted every single color...until now. If the beauty gods would like to bless me with these in time for christmas (wink wink to people who know me IRL) I would be forever grateful.

Can I just say that these colors are EVERYTHING.

Kick: Vivid orange with yellow undertones
Cult: Vibrant tropical melon pink
Ladder 15: Bold bright red with orange undertones
Lovecat: Sexy deep red with teeth whitening blue undertones
Lucky: Vivid Pink with warm undertones
Twist: Neon fuchsia pink with blue undertones
Circa Rose: Universal punchy pink with slight blue undertones
Black is Blue: Sophisticated deep midnight blue with a slight indigo undertone

Aren't these perfect for fall? And they're all matte! You know, I love a good matte! If I go to Sephora soon, I'll be sure to have swatches for you all!

I'm OBSESSED!

Butter LONDON's Brown Sugar Review

Butter LONDON's Brown Sugar is from their new Bespoke Colour Cosmetics line. I am obsessed with this color. In the bottle it looks like it shifts from a burnished copper to a plum with gold flecks. Incredibly well suited for Autumn, it's like the essence of fallen leaves in a bottle.

When I was sent products from the Bespoke Colour line,  I was hoping and praying that I got this nail polish! The name is fabulous and when I saw a preview on Butter London's Instagram, I knew it was the color for me.

When I put on the first coat, it seemed like a dupe for Zoya's Faye, so I was excited to do a comparison post on the two! However, as I put on more coats, it was obvious that these were completely different polishes.

It's Butter LONDON, so of course, the formula was amazing. I put on three thin coats, even with the gold flecks the end result was a smooth application. It was not gritty at all. I highly recommend this product and all Butter LONDON products in general. It's just an amazing brand with amazing products.

Happy 1st Birthday Jaelyn!

I know that this isn't a Style Saturday but I had no time to do one because today was niece's first birthday! I'm so excited because I love to see children grow up, and I get to be around this gorgeous girl forever to see what kind of woman she'll become. As of right now, she is my only niece and I don't have any nephews. Her shirt says "I'm the birthday Princess!" and she most definitely is!

I know that the picture quality is not up to par! But they are still very special photos to me!

Review

I love all of the products from Butter London's new Bespoke Colour Line. Both Mascaras gave my lashes volume but not length. The color pay off for Indigo Punk is great, very vibrant. I would have liked the Union Jack Black mascara to be even blacker.

The cream Shadow in Indigo Punk is one of the best products in this line, it's easily blendable and has amazing staying power. I wore this look for most of the day and the cream shadow didn't budge.

The cream blush in Honey Pie is SO smooth. It blended out so well, that you can barely see it on my face. I think i'll need to put on more of the product in order to achieve the color pay off that I want.

The tinted balm in Axis Kiss is incredibly moisturizing. The color is a gorgeous berry, and I think it looks more like a sheer lipstick than a tinted balm! It's great!

(How many times can I say "great" and "color pay off"?!)

I love this look but I feel as if just wearing the Indigo punk mascara and cream shadow on my lash line made it look like I have bags under my eyes. Next time, I'll put a little black eyeliner in my water line.

This collection made it's official debut yesterday, August first, so tell me if you picked up any of the products and how you'll like them!!!
